Records. He took home Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Male Artist, Best
Folk/Country Artist or Group, and Songwriter of the Year at the 1999 Native American
Music Awards. Each award was well deserved.

Robert Mirabal- 2001 Native American Music Music Awards winner for Artist of the Year, Record of the Year, Songwriter of the Year Arvel Bird -Renowned fiddler/violinist, Arvel Bird, of Nashville, TN, received two 2002 Native American Music Awards nominations for his album, "Birdstock: fiddle Tunes for the Birds" in both the Best Folk/Country Artist and Best Instrumental Recording categories.
