ANIMAL TOTEMS is a contemporary instrumental Native American violin/flute CD about animals and their totem meanings.  The compositions blend classical, jazz and Celtic styles to represent the powers, characteristics and the direct connection many Native Americans have with these wild animals.  The music is visual and even mystical, allowing the listeners to experience their own visions.  This album is unique in that it appeals to not only those interested in Native American culture and music but also to a diverse array of music fans and animal lovers.

Classically trained, Arvel Bird (www.arvelbird.com), is a professional fiddler who has performed with Glen Campbell, Clay Walker, Louise Mandrell, Tom T.
