Backflip
Arigon Starr

Native American Diva Arigon Starr presents BACKFLIP, her third collection of insightful, fun and entertaining songs. Arigon weaves a tale of contemporary Native America with songs about salmon, pow-wows, Native veterans and stories from her own colorful history. Her stories from the road are set to country, rock and pop beats and provide listeners with their own map to the heart of Indian country.

'Junior Frybread' from the CD 'Wind Up'

Wind-Up
Arigon Starr

WIND-UP is the second release from award-winning Native American singer Arigon Starr. Arigon's powerful vocals are front and center, as she takes you on a musical journey through Native America. The rock, pop, funk and country tunes provide an excellent backdrop to stories as bold as the occupation of Alcatraz Island and as humorous as the story of pow-wow veteran Junior Frybread. She is an artist who is as comfortable opening for the likes of Hank Williams III as she is playing for a group of Indian elders. WIND-UP is the music of an edgy, clever Native American woman surviving in a very contemporary world.
