We're proud to introduce our new columnist for the Tanasi News blog, Pat Cummins. Pat is a past president of the Alliance For Native American Indian Rights and currently serves on the Tennessee Archaeological Advisory Council. His column, Red Legacy, will be focused mainly on issues related to mixed-blood heritage. Free Native American E-books

We finally got around to exploring e-books and e-publishing recently, and were excited to discover the large numbers of free e-books available for reading online and/or downloading to an e-reader device. Amazon.com has a collection of over 15,000 free books, called "Kindle Popular Classics" available in the popular Kindle format, and you don't even have to buy a Kindle to read these books. Amazon has a number of free Kindle reader apps for popular devices like the iPhone, iPad, and Blackberry. They also have a free app called Kindle for the PC that you can install on your Windows desktop or laptop that lets you read Kindle books right on your computer. Learn More Here...
